Why is the product innovative?
The idea for CaliBowl was conceived while Jeff Bollengier was on a family vacation in Baja, California. He was chasing salsa around the bowl with a chip and thought there had to be a better bowl design. Today's bowls are designed with a flat, smooth edge that lets food spill over the side. Jeff wanted to design a bowl that would contain the food, making it easier to eat everything from salsa to soup to oatmeal. CaliBowl has a patent-pending inner lip with a curvature that guides the food back onto the utensil and prevents spills. It has received rave reviews from moms whose toddlers are learning to eat to adults who just want a better bowl to those with motor skill impairment. Quite simply, CaliBowl is revolutionizing the way we eat.
