Why is this Part Innovative?
The tank cover/air box cover is the first use of a new transparent, chemical resistant, rigid material that allowed the designer to create a ìlookî or style that would attract the attention of young buyers. The cover and windscreen had to be rigid and stable at speeds, but were required to have the tinted transparent look.
